Juliet Meyers, Peter Holloway & Rev. Ravi Holy
COMEDY EVENING with light refreshments
Wednesday 15th September, 19.30 – 21.45
A special comedy evening over dinner, featuring three fantastic comedians.
Juliet Meyers
Mixing silliness with edginess, Juliet has a chatty gag-driven style that allows her to interact with the crowd; this makes her much in demand both as a comedian and an MC across the UK comedy circuit. She has also been a writer on the Sarah Millican TV Programme and also Elephant In The Room (Sarah Millican’s show on Radio 4), as well as 8/10 Cats and Mock The Week.
Peter Holloway
Peter is a man of many parts. He is a recently retired Suffolk farmer; a comedian, magician and raconteur and lead saxophonist in the legendary Fat Band. He developed the character of Ted Loss, based on the Suffolk dialect and humour. Ted has entertained both at home and abroad, as well as local BBC radio. The first Greenbelt Arts Festival was held at Prospect Farm, Peter’s farm.
Rev. Ravi Holy
Ravi Holy is the vicar of Wye by day and a stand-up comedian by night. He was a semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny? in 2016, he won the Canterbury Festival’s comedy competition and was also voted Funniest Vicar after performing live on The One Show (although, to be fair there were only two other entrants!). He is a regular contributor to Pause for Thought on Radio 2 and has been a guest on both Saturday Morning Live on Radio 4 and Sunday Morning Live on BBC1.
