An afternoon of poetry and music with poet and singer – songwriter Malcolm Guite. Malcolm will be reading from his collections Sounding the Seasons and The Singing Bowl and singing songs from ‘The Green Man and other songs’ as well as sharing some new material.


Malcolm Guite is Chaplain of Girton College, Cambridge and teaches at the Faculty of Divinity here. He lectures in England and North America on Theology and Literature, has published poetry, theology and literary criticism. His books include: Love, Remember; Mariner, a spiritual biography of Samuel Taylor Coleridge; Parable and Paradox; The Singing Bowl; Sounding the Seasons; Theology and the Poetic Imaginationand Faith Hope and Poetry. Malcolm has edited two poetry anthologies for Lent and Advent: The Word in the Wilderness (2014) and Waiting on the Word.
